Community Clean-Up Day — Entrance, Longview & Miller's Avenue

Another brilliant morning for the Glen — neighbours, kids and the committee came together in the sunshine to sweep, weed and replant the entrance at Millers Glen Rock.

What happened

Another clean-up day done, and what a morning it was! Under blue skies, neighbours of all ages met at Millers Glen Rock at 10am and got straight to work — sweeping kerbs and footpaths, pulling weeds along the walls on Miller's Avenue and Longview Court, and giving the entrance bed around the Millers Glen stone a fresh layer of bark mulch with new heathers and colourful planting. A huge well done and thank you to every volunteer who gave up their Saturday morning, and to our committee members for all the hard work in organising, gathering supplies and getting stuck in on the day. It really shows what we can do together.

Why we did it

Regular clean-ups keep our roads, paths and shared spaces looking cared for — and every one brings more neighbours together.

Who took part

Families, kids and committee members all rolled up their sleeves, with brooms, gloves, bags and supplies provided. Between clean-up days, we'd love everyone to do a little when they can around their own house — sweeping the footpath outside, pulling the odd weed or picking up litter. Small efforts from each of us are what keep Millers Glen looking its best all year round.
